Anushka Sharma is RAB NE BANADI JODI’S HEROINE

Yes. Its finally official. Rab Ne Bana di Jodi’s Heroine is Anushka Sharma. This model turned actress surely hit the bulls eye with Rab ne Bana di Jodi. Anushka Sharma could not have expected a better launch than starring opposite Shah Rukh Khan and an Aditya Chopra’s Directorial venture. Anushka Sharma has no prior acting experience and hails from Bangalore.

“We were looking first for someone who could truly embody the spirit of small town Punjab,” Yash Chopra said. “We know we have found her in Anushka. While she has no previous acting experience, we have seen that unique spark in her that makes us confident that she will be a standout even opposite Shah Rukh”. Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi is all set to go on the floors on May 16, and is scheduled to release on December 12, 2008.
